EnerQuest Corporation is a privately held Plano, Texas based independent oil and gas company actively engaged in exploration, development and production of oil and gas assets across the United States.
We are focused on growing our portfolio of energy investments across upstream energy verticals including operated, non-operated and minerals/royalties.
Our History
Founded in 1999 by Robert Backiel II, EnerQuest built a core operated position in East Texas and drilled more than 75 wells with a leasehold position of over 40,000 acres across Nacogdoches, Shelby and Rusk counties, Texas.
Today, EnerQuest is focused on continued growth in East Texas and through acquisitions across the continental United States. EnerQuest invests in operated, non-operated and mineral/royalty interest positions.
